We are a small craft group of about 14 ladies. Not all our members are from the church - anyone can come along; the more the merrier! We meet up the first and third Wednesday morning each month at Church to share our ideas, tips and talk about what bargains we have managed to buy in the previous two weeks. Sometimes we have outings to various craft shops (usually with good cakes to be found near by) and we also invite people to come along to do a demonstration and a workshop. One of our favourites is John Townley. Not only are John’s demonstrations brilliant but he makes us all smile too. We all know if John is coming we are in for a good time, although he makes us work very hard. He sometimes has us making eight cards in one session or some other intricate thing that needs all our concentration. We hardly have time for coffee. Other weeks some our own members demonstrate their skills too. Its not all work; we do have coffee and a biscuit mid morning :- well, some of us have more than one biscuit! Occasionally we do nothing but sit and chat and share our problems, gripes and grumbles. So you see, there is no pressure. It is a very enjoyable part of our lives.
